Albuquerque Alumnae Chapter of Chi Omega

Dear Pi Gamma Sisters,                                                                       December, 2024

As we prepare to celebrate a monumental milestone in our Chi Omega Chapter's history - our 
Centennial Celebration - we are filled with pride and gratitude for the bonds of sisterhood that have united us over the past century. As we reflect on our journey, we are reminded of the countless memories shared within the walls of our beloved Pi Gamma Sorority House. I can personally remember the first day I stepped across the threshold as a MEMBER of the best Sorority on campus! The fear, the excitement, and then the warmth of sisters and the embrace of our beautiful house!

This house, our home away from home, has been a safe place where we've found comfort during challenging times and joy in each other's company. Our Pi Gamma sorority house holds a special place in each of our hearts. Our cherished home has been a cornerstone of sisterhood and camaraderie for generations of triumphs both big and small. However, as we approach this significant milestone, we cannot ignore the wear and fear that time has inevitably taken on some of our beloved furnishings.

In particular, our dining room chairs, which have faithfully served us since  the 1980's, are in need of an update. While they hold countless memories within their worn surfaces, we believe that the time has come to usher in a new era of comfort and functionality for our sorority house.

To ensure that our Centennial Celebration is a true reflection of our commitment to excellence we are embarking on a special fundraising campaign to restore our dining room chairs at $500 apiece, which is less expensive than replacing them. We envision a space that not only honors our rich history but also provides a welcoming environment four future generations of Chi Omegas to create their own lasting memories.

Your generous donation will not only enhance the physical space of our sorority house but will also serve as a testament to your enduring commitment to Chi Omega. Whether you are able to give a little or a lot, every contribution brings us closer to our goal of creating a space that honors our past while embracing our future. Additionally, at certain giving levels, you will be commemorated within the dining room leaving a timeless mark of our home.
